About this site
Flat Rock sits off the Palos Verdes Peninsula in Los Angeles County, California, along the rocky Pacific coastline, and is a known shore dive entry point favored by local divers rather than boat divers. The dive reaches a maximum depth of around 9.1 metres over a rocky bottom and is rated an intermediate dive. Divers have reported octopus around the rocks here. Some divers have also noted rough beach conditions and a difficult trail down to the entry and exit point, so care getting in and out is worth factoring into the dive.
