Fringehead City sits off Point Loma near San Diego, California, along the rocky reef structure common to that stretch of the Southern California coast, and is generally reached by boat out of San Diego Bay. It is rated a beginner dive. Divers have reported California sea lions, kelp bass, opalescent nudibranchs, striped shore crabs, and sunburst anemones around the reef here.
