About this site
Fudensaki (筆ん崎) is a boat-dive reef off Aguni Island, Okinawa, about 1 hour 40 minutes by boat from Naha, with a maximum depth of 30 m. It is one of Okinawa's foremost pelagic sites: in season a ball of several thousand bigeye trevally and schools of dogtooth tuna, with pyramid butterflyfish, sleek unicornfish and scalefin anthias, and juveniles in the shallows. Under the influence of the Kuroshio the current runs regardless of the tide and can be very strong depending on the day and hour, so it requires solid skills; intermediate and above.
