About this site
This dive site off Palinuro features stunning underwater archway covered in vibrant red gorgonians, giving it a dramatic "bloody eye" appearance. The arch drops to 30 meters, with walls teeming with moray eels, groupers, and schools of barracuda. Strong currents bring nutrient-rich waters, attracting pelagics. The site offers both shallow coral gardens and deep walls, suitable for various skill levels. Visibility often exceeds 30 meters in summer. The unique topography includes swim-throughs and small caves to explore.
