About this site
Upbound with coal when a strong north wind blew her onto the shoals off Au Sable Point. Salvagers recovered some of her cargo, but rising winds eventually damaged the vessel enough that it was abandoned. She lies scattered about on a sandstone ledge, with her boilers, anchors, and other gear moved about by ice and wave action. Lies in about 6.1 m; sank 1918.
