Gamao

Gamao is a dive site off Marikaban Island, across the channel from Anilao in Mabini, Batangas, on the southern Luzon coast of the Philippines. This part of the Verde Island Passage is known for its rich range of reef and muck diving sites, with Marikaban's shoreline dotted with small coves reached by banca from the Anilao mainland. The site sits over a reef bottom to a maximum depth of about 22 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Trevally are a regular sight here, and divers have also reported frogfish, lionfish, tuna, and even the occasional thresher shark.
