Giant Clams

Puerto Galera sits on the northern coast of Mindoro in Luzon, Philippines, across the Verde Island Passage from Batangas, and is one of the country's longest-established dive hubs. The Giant Clams site takes its name from the area around it, part of the network of reefs and points scattered through the bays near Sabang and Small La Laguna. It is a beginner dive over a reef bottom, reaching a maximum depth of around 16 metres, with light current and good visibility. Mimic octopus turn up here, and divers have also reported damselfish, frogfish and hairy frogfish, nudibranchs, octopus, and seahorses on the reef.
