About this site
Montani Bay lies off Oriental Mindoro in the Philippines, in a region known for its coastal reefs along the Verde Island Passage. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 18 metres over a sand bottom, with good visibility and a rating suited to beginners. Frogfish are a regular find here, and divers have also reported lionfish, nudibranchs, octopus, pipefish, and seahorses on the sand. Some divers have also noted cuttlefish with venomous stings at the site.
