About this site
Goby the Crab sits along the Lembeh Strait off the northeastern tip of Sulawesi, Indonesia, a stretch of coastline known for its black sand slopes between the mainland and Lembeh Island. Local dive operators based around Bitung run day trips out to sites scattered along both shores of the strait. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 20 metres, consistent with the shallow muck diving profile common to this part of the strait.
