About this site
Greek Columns lies along the coast near Messina, at the northeastern tip of Sicily where the island faces the Strait of Messina toward the Italian mainland. The strait's currents between the Tyrrhenian and Ionian seas make this a distinctive stretch of coastline for diving in the region. The site itself is shallow, reaching only about 2 metres, and is rated a beginner dive. Divers have reported barracuda, damselfish, parrotfish, and wrasse around the site.
