About this site
Isola Bella is a small islet off Taormina on Sicily's Ionian coast, connected to the mainland by a narrow sand spit and set within a protected nature reserve. Diving here takes place along the rocky shoreline surrounding the islet, with access typically from the adjacent beach or by small boat from Taormina. The south side of the islet is a shallow site, reaching a maximum depth of around 4.3 metres, and is rated as a beginner dive.
