About this site
Ilhéu das Cabras is a small islet off the coast of Terceira in the Azores archipelago, Portugal, and dive sites around it take their name from the grotto formations along its shoreline. The Azores sit on volcanic terrain in the middle of the North Atlantic, and the coastline around Terceira is shaped by basalt and lava formations that continue underwater near this islet.
