About this site
Located off Santa Cruz Island, this site offers dramatic underwater cliffs and vibrant kelp forests teeming with marine life. Strong currents attract schools of fish, while seals and sea lions often play in the clear waters. The rocky terrain provides shelter for lobsters, octopus, and colorful nudibranchs. Visibility varies but can exceed 60 feet on good days. Best suited for intermediate to advanced divers due to occasional surge and cooler water temperatures. The surrounding Pacific waters create a dynamic, nutrient-rich environment.
