Nestled off Santa Cruz Island, this sheltered cove offers calm conditions ideal for beginners. Kelp forests sway in gentle currents, home to playful harbor seals and bright orange garibaldi. Rocky reefs teem with rockfish and octopus, while deeper sections reveal small caves. Visibility often reaches 30 feet, with water temperatures ranging 50-65°F. The sandy bottom slopes gradually, perfect for relaxed exploration.
