About this site

Hanging Garden lies near Sipadan Island off Sabah in the Celebes Sea, on the Malaysia-Indonesia border region. The site takes its name from the soft corals and gorgonian fans that drape a wall dropping to around 40 metres, rated an advanced dive. Divers have reported hammerhead sharks, leopard and zebra sharks, whale sharks, and nudibranchs along the wall, though sightings of the larger pelagics are occasional rather than guaranteed.
