About this site
Head Harbour lies at the northern tip of Campobello Island in New Brunswick, at the entrance to Passamaquoddy Bay where it meets the wider Bay of Fundy. The area is known for the East Quoddy Head lighthouse on its outer point, and the surrounding waters are shaped by the strong tidal currents typical of the Fundy region. Divers have also reported high wind exposure and strong surge here, conditions consistent with the site's open position at the mouth of the bay.
