About this site
Hen Rock is a small rock formation along the coast of Santa Catalina Island, off Southern California in the Pacific. Dive sites in this area of the island are typically reached by boat from Avalon or Two Harbors and sit within the kelp forest habitat characteristic of Catalina's shoreline. Hen Rock Reef itself reaches a maximum depth of around 15 metres and is rated a beginner dive, making it a manageable option among the island's kelp-lined sites.
