About this site
Himmafushi Kandu is a channel dive site on the edge of North Male Atoll near the island of Himmafushi in Kaafu Atoll, Maldives. Channel sites like this cut through the atoll rim between the inner lagoon and the open sea, and are typically reached by dhoni or dive boat from resorts and guesthouses in the North Male area. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 30 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers have also reported eagle rays passing through the channel here.
