About this site
HMAS Brisbane is a decommissioned Royal Australian Navy guided missile destroyer scuttled off the coast of Queensland near Mooloolaba as an artificial reef. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 24 metres and is generally considered an intermediate dive. The ship was deliberately sunk in 2005 after decades of naval service, and the wreck now sits as a purpose-built dive attraction accessible by boat from the Sunshine Coast.
