About this site
The Pin lies off Brisbane on the Queensland coast, in waters associated with the Flinders Reef and Moreton Island area southeast of the city. This stretch of the Coral Sea's southern reaches is reached by boat from the Brisbane region's coastal launch points, and the site sits over a reef bottom. Divers here have reported barracuda, sea turtles, trevally, and wrasse moving through the reef structure.
