HMS Goliath was a British pre-dreadnought battleship torpedoed by an Ottoman destroyer in 1915 during the Dardanelles campaign, sinking in the Aegean waters near the entrance to the Dardanelles Strait off the Gelibolu (Gallipoli) peninsula in Turkey. The loss occurred at night with heavy loss of life among the crew. The wreck lies at considerable depth in the strait's approaches, and diving it is rated advanced. Its remote location and depth mean it remains far less routinely dived than other wrecks in the Gallipoli area.
