About this site
HMS Stubborn was a British S-class submarine that survived active wartime service before being sunk off Malta after the war, used as a target vessel. She lies off San Pawl il-Bahar on Malta's northeast coast, resting on a wreck bottom at a maximum depth of around 52.5 metres, which places the dive firmly in technical territory. The hull is broken, and given her history as a submarine, her distinctive form still sets her apart among Malta's wreck sites.
