About this site
The MV Imperial Eagle lies off the coast near Naxxar, Malta, scuttled as an artificial reef rather than lost to accident. Malta's coastline has seen a number of former ferries and small vessels deliberately sunk over the years to create diveable structures for the local dive industry. The wreck sits on a sand bottom with a maximum depth of around 42 metres, and it is rated a technical dive.
