Hole in the Wall

Hole in the Wall lies off Roatan in the Bay Islands of Honduras, part of the fringing reef system that runs along the island's coast. The name refers to a swim-through or chimney cut in the reef wall connecting the shallower reef to deeper water. It is rated a beginner dive with a maximum depth of around 11.3 metres, making the swim-through approachable rather than technical. Roatan's north and west shore sites, including this one, are typically reached by short boat rides from resorts along the coast.
