House Reef South

Rawa Island sits off the east coast of Johor, Malaysia, part of a small group of islands in the South China Sea popular with day trippers and resort divers from Mersing. House Reef South refers to a reef area accessible directly from the island's shoreline, on the southern side of the island, dropping into a wall that reaches a maximum depth of around 25 metres. It is rated an advanced dive, and hammerhead sharks are a confirmed presence along the wall. Divers have also reported manta rays, sea turtles, trevally, and tuna passing through the area.
