About this site
Hulhidhoo Kandu is a channel site in Vaavu Atoll, part of the Felidhu Atoll system in the central Maldives, where channels connect the inner lagoon to the open ocean. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 35 metres. Vaavu is less developed than the atolls nearer Male and is typically reached by liveaboard rather than day boats out of the capital region.
