About this site
Maafusaru Kandu is a thrilling channel dive in the Maldives, known for strong currents that attract pelagic action. Expect schools of gray reef sharks, eagle rays, and occasional hammerheads patrolling the deep blue. The steep walls are covered in vibrant soft corals and gorgonians, while overhangs hide lobsters and moray eels. Best suited for advanced divers due to the swift drift, visibility often exceeds 30 meters. The adrenaline rush of riding the current while surrounded by marine giants makes this a must-dive spot.
