About this site
The Hydro Atlantic is an artificial reef wreck sunk off Broward County, Florida, in the Atlantic waters near Fort Lauderdale and Pompano Beach, part of the region's program of deliberately placed vessels intended to create habitat and dive attractions along this stretch of coast. It sits on a sand bottom with a maximum depth of around 22 metres and is considered a beginner dive. Divers have reported bull sharks and jacks or amberjacks around the wreck.
