About this site
Karato Sho (カラト礁) is a boat dive at Futagami off Iki, dived from Itoshima on the Genkai coast of Fukuoka Prefecture, with an average depth of around 30 m and recommended for intermediate divers and above. Karato is one of the named reefs of Kyushu, and conditions rarely allow the boat to get close. When they do, the site offers dramatic topography and schooling fish.
