About this site
Irarakandy is a wreck site off the northeastern coast of Sri Lanka, in the Trincomalee district along the Bay of Bengal, an area long known for its natural harbor and coastal waters. The wreck lies in shallow water with a maximum depth of around 10 metres, making it a beginner dive over a wreck bottom. Nudibranchs are found on the site.
