About this site
Ito sits along the Chiba coastline on the Pacific-facing side of the Boso Peninsula in Japan, part of the rocky shore diving typical of the Izu-Boso region of Honshu and reached from small coastal towns along the peninsula. This site over a reef bottom reaches a maximum depth of around 23 metres and is rated an intermediate dive. The area lies within reach of Tokyo Bay's outer waters and the open Pacific beyond.
