About this site
Jake's Place lies off Little Corn Island, one of the two Corn Islands off Nicaragua's Caribbean coast, east of the larger Corn Island and reached by boat from the small local dive operations there. It is a reef dive reaching a maximum depth of around 26 metres, with coral cover including elkhorn, finger, lettuce, lobed star, mustard hill, and symmetrical brain coral. Divers have also reported dolphins and sea turtles passing through the site, along with reef fish such as Atlantic blue tang, stoplight parrotfish, yellowtail snapper, and yellowtail damselfish.
