Jay's Cathedral lies off the coast of Nusa Tenggara Barat in eastern Indonesia, in the waters separating Bali from Lombok, within a channel shaped by strong currents flowing between the Indian Ocean and the Flores Sea. The site sits over a reef bottom with a maximum depth of around 22 metres and is rated an advanced dive, reflecting the current conditions typical of this stretch. Divers have reported hammerhead sharks here as well.
