About this site
Jill Rocks lies among the limestone island clusters off El Nido, on the northern tip of Palawan in the Philippines. Sites in this stretch of the El Nido archipelago are typically reached by banca boat from town, weaving between the karst formations that define the area's coastline. Divers here have reported a varied reef community, including Moorish idols, ocellaris anemonefish, scissortail sergeants, sixbar wrasse, blackspotted puffers, and several damsel species, along with nudibranchs such as Anna's chromodoris and Loch's chromodoris and the occasional blue linckia sea star among the rocks.
