About this site
Jinshawan (金沙湾) hard coral area lies in Da'ao Bay off the Jinsha Bay resort at Dapeng, Shenzhen, in 6–12 m, about 1 km from Hong Kong's Tung Ping Chau marine park. Some 2,000 m2 of hard coral cover the bottom in what is the main fish and crustacean nursery of Dapeng Bay; seasonal shrimp blooms turn the water red and Chinese white dolphins have entered the bay.
