About this site
Dongchong (东涌) is the rocky reef off Dongchong village at the tip of the Dapeng peninsula, Shenzhen, in 6–20 m and the closest of the local sites to open sea. Soft coral covers the boulders, and barracuda, tuna and other migratory fish come through along with large rays. Current is strong and sea conditions change quickly.
