Josie J Wreck

The Josie J Wreck lies off Roatan, the largest of Honduras's Bay Islands, in the Caribbean Sea along the island's barrier reef coast, reached by boat from towns such as West End and West Bay. The wreck rests on a sand and rubble bottom at a maximum depth of around 62 metres, placing it well beyond recreational limits and rating it a technical dive. Its depth is itself a hazard, and divers have also reported hammerhead sharks passing through the area. The coastline here drops off quickly into open water, and the Josie J sits deep on that slope.
