Kagi Kuda Kandu

Kagi Kuda Kandu is a small channel dive site located close to Kagi Island in the North Malé Atoll, Maldives. The site features rocky blocks, canyons, and good coral growth along the channel walls, with a sandy bottom where the channel opens into the atoll interior.

The dive follows the channel structure, allowing divers to swim across and into one of the many atoll channels. The terrain consists of rock and coral blocks with the channel itself used as a natural drift route toward the end of the dive. Visibility is good, and the dive can be completed as a drift, finishing inside the atoll.

Marine life at Kagi Kuda Kandu is varied and active. Eagle rays are a highlight, and divers regularly follow groups of them through the channel. Moray eels, lobsters, and schools of reef fish are found along the walls and among the coral blocks. White-tip reef sharks are often seen resting on the sandy bottom inside the channel, and nurse sharks may be found tucked beneath coral blocks.
