Kahala Barge

Kahala Barge lies off the Kahala coast of southeast Oahu, in the waters off Honolulu near the Kahala Hotel area, sitting within the reef and sand flats typical of that stretch of the island's south shore. The wreck rests on a sand and reef bottom to a maximum depth of around 26.6 metres and is rated an intermediate dive. Lionfish, nudibranchs, and sea turtles are regularly seen on the structure, and divers have also reported eagle rays, octopus, and reef sharks around the site. The barge itself is deteriorating, and surge has been noted as a hazard here, so conditions on the wreck can vary.
