Kata Reef North lies off Kata Beach on the southwest coast of Phuket, in the Andaman Sea. Dive sites along this stretch of coastline are typically reached by short boat trips from the beaches of Phuket's west side. It is considered a beginner dive, and divers have also reported mimic octopus on the reef here.
