About this site
Keystorm is a steel freighter wreck in the St. Lawrence River, lying south of the shipping channel off Mallorytown Landing, west of Brockville. The steamer carried coal and measures 78 metres long with a beam of 13 metres. It sits in deeper water, away from the shoal it hit.
Depths run from about 6 metres down to 34 metres, over a silt bottom. Visibility is typically 12 to 18 metres or better, with a current of around one knot. The wreck is reached by boat and sees only occasional boat traffic.
