Kinondo Reef lies along the Kwale coast of southern Kenya, on the Indian Ocean south of Mombasa near the Diani and Galu shoreline. This part of the Kenyan coast is fringed by coral reef systems that run parallel to the beach, typically reached by boat from the resort areas around Diani.
