Kituia Reef lies off Jibondo Island in Tanzania's Mafia Channel, offering vibrant coral gardens teeming with reef fish, moray eels, and occasional reef sharks. The site features dramatic drop-offs and swim-throughs, with strong currents attracting pelagics. Visibility often exceeds 20 meters, making it ideal for drift diving. Soft corals and sea fans thrive here, creating a colorful underwater landscape. The reef top sits at 5 meters, plunging to 30 meters, suitable for all experience levels. Expect warm waters year-round and encounters with turtles and schools of barracuda.
