About this site
Knife is a reef on the north side of Bonaire, near the centre of the coast, and it can be entered from the beach. The dive ranges in depth from 6 to 30 metres (20 to 100 feet), with views starting in about 15 feet of water.
Coral and gorgonians cover the reef, along with sea urchins, crabs, slugs and eels. Parrotfish, hogfish, damselfish, chubs, lizardfish, butterflyfish and angelfish are the fish most often listed here, and the easy beach access makes it simple to dive at an unhurried pace.
