About this site
Ko Yung sits off Thailand's Andaman coast, in the vicinity of the Phi Phi and Phuket dive areas. It is a shallow reef site with a maximum depth of around 10 metres, and it is considered a beginner-friendly dive. Divers have reported batfish, octopus, pipefish, and seahorses among the reef life here, along with surface currents that can pick up at times, so it is worth keeping an eye on conditions near the top of the water column even on this otherwise easy dive.
