About this site
Koepeltje is a dive site in the Grevelingenmeer near Scharendijke on the Schouwen-Duiveland peninsula in Zeeland, in the southwest of the Netherlands. Unlike the tidal Oosterschelde nearby, the Grevelingenmeer is a saltwater lake without tidal current, closed off from the North Sea by dams, which makes it a popular shore diving spot in this area. Koepeltje reaches a maximum depth of around 15 metres and is rated a beginner site.
