About this site
Krakatoa is a reef dive site off the Inhambane coast in southeastern Mozambique, in the stretch of Indian Ocean water near Tofo and Barra that draws divers to this part of the country. It reaches a maximum depth of around 18 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers here have reported nudibranchs and octopus on the reef, along with occasional whale shark sightings passing through the area.
