About this site
Chamber of Secrets sits on the reef systems off Inhambane, on Mozambique's southeastern coast near Tofo and Barra, where dive operators launch boats directly from the beach. It's a beginner dive reaching a maximum depth of around 18 metres over a reef bottom. Divers have reported lizardfish and scorpionfish resting on the reef here, and whale sharks have also been spotted passing through, in keeping with this stretch of coast's reputation for seasonal whale shark encounters.
