L'Enfer de Dante lies off Antibes and Juan-les-Pins along the Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur coast, in the Var department stretch of the French Riviera. This part of the Mediterranean coastline near Cap d'Antibes is known for rocky reef terrain reached by boat from the local harbours.
