About this site
La Galleria lies along the limestone coastline of the Golfo di Orosei, within the territory of Baunei on Sardinia's eastern shore. This stretch of the Ogliastra province is known for its steep cliffs and sea caves cut into the rock, with much of the coast accessible only by boat from towns like Santa Maria Navarrese or Cala Gonone. The site itself is a cave dive reaching a maximum depth of around 14 metres and is rated as suitable for beginners.
